How to set up WebProsperity Meeting conference?

There are two types of conferences that you can set up with WebProsperity Meeting; a Webinar and a Conference.

A Webinar is an online seminar – meaning that there are two types of participants: the presenters, who are able to speak and use the share feature, and the participants, who are only able to listen and view the materials that are shown.

A Conference is like a meeting – every participant has equal rights to speak and present their materials.

You can also choose the start date and time of your conference – this is a great feature if you want the conference to last for a particular length of time. If the time is not restricted, you can choose “endless” as an option, and this would mean that the conference room will be accessible at all times (unless you delete it).

If you choose to enable phone access for your conference, this means that the participants will be able to call a special number to join in the conference.

After your conference room is created, when you click on the conference name, you will be able to get all phone numbers and PINs required for phone access. On the same page, you will also find the conference address (a link that you have to give to participants).

You can limit the number of people who can join your conference by choosing the option – “conference room is password protected”.

If you choose it, a small field with a space to enter the password will pop up – all you need to do is to enter the password there, and give it to the participants.

If you decide that anyone should be able to join in, please choose “anyone can join the conference”.

Once logged into the conference, you can choose the layout of the conference room that suits your needs best.

What methods of conferencing are available?

When starting a new conference, you can automatically notify attendees via email from your easy-to-manage WebProsperity panel.

How will those attending my conference gain access?
Each conference has a special URL which attendees open in their browser. The URL is generated when you set up a new conference, and there are different URLs to allow the automatic assignment of administrative roles when joining.

Can I hold a limited-access conference?
Yes, your conference can be password-protected, and made available only to the people you invite.

What phone numbers can I call to join the conference?
Below is the list of available phone numbers (please note: if you are form the US please choose your nearest local number): Conshohocken, PA: New York, NY:

Will I have a dedicated conference telephone number available to me at all times, or will I be given a new number each time I set up a conference?

The phone numbers will always be the same; however, the participants will need a different PIN number for each conference.

If you want to keep the same PIN, the solution could be to always meet in the same conference room – this way the PIN stays the same.

If you would like to work this way, please do not set any start/end date and time – choose the option “endless” instead.

Will I be able to share my desktop?
We are currently offering writeboard sharing and PowerPoint presentations sharing. Desktop sharing will be available soon!

If I choose a Webinar, is it possible to allow all participants to speak? I prefer to have a Q&A session after my Webinars?

If you choose a Webinar, there will be two types of links to send out to the participants: the link for presenters (who are able to speak and share their desktop) and the link for listeners (who are only able to listen, watch and chat).

Technically, if you give everyone the link for presenters, it is going to be just like a “conference”, where everyone has equal rights.

If you would like the participants to be able to ask questions to the presenters, we recommend the following solution:

Choose a Webinar option and ask the listeners to type in their questions in the chat room. This way the presenters will not be disturbed, and the listeners will still be able to participate actively.

How many participants can join a WebProsperity Meeting?
WebProsperity Premium Package offers unlimited conferences with up to 10 attendees. With WebProsperity Elite Package and Elite Builder Package, you can deliver unlimited meetings to up to 200 participants. WebProsperity Meeting is not

StumbleUpon It!
